Ruby Lake is a beautiful high-altitude lake near Rock Creek. The trail is only 4 miles round trip and is stunning pretty much the entire way. We hiked it late in the day and got to watch the sunset over Ruby Lake. It is a great choice since the Little Lakes Valley Trail, which leaves from the same trailhead is much busier than this one is.
