Hello YouTube from TheSprice17, Toothpaste35, and DoodleChaos! Sorry about the briefness of this video. I'm already busy with another video coming up soon! We are here today to proudly present a special opportunity to earn some cool prizes. We have put together an online Rube Goldberg contest for the second year in a row, and you have just as good a chance as anyone else! Read below for the rules, guidelines, and tips. And make sure to watch the entire video up there!

RULES FOR ENTRY

1: Subscribe to all three accounts.
2: Make your own Rube Goldberg Machine, film it, and post it as a video response (No time limit).
3: You can enter up to 2 videos.

VIDEO GUIDELINES

1: Please mention this contest either in the title or the description.
2: Video must be your OWN work, not somebody else's that you found on the internet.
3: Video must meet YouTube Terms of Service.
4: Cannot have been uploaded before this announcement video.

RUBE GOLDBERG GUIDELINES

1: There are no specific guidelines for your Rube Goldberg.
2: If you wish your contraption to be more seriously considered for winning, breaks in the machine are highly discouraged (though not illegal).
3: Please only use one camera angle and take if you wish to have a better chance of winning.
4: Have fun and make your machine is as creative and interesting as possible!

PRIZES

1st Place: Featured on all 3 channels, 8 subscriptions, TheSprice17 t-shirt, domino signed by TheSprice17, coffee poster, mystery bag.
2nd Place: Featured on all 3 channels, 8 subscriptions, personal video from TheSprice17.

TIPS

1: Make your machine is as creative and interesting as possible.
2: Do not make your machine just one long marble run (unless it is VERY cool); these entries will not be as seriously considered as others.
3: Do some investigating! Watch all those other good Rube Goldberg videos out there, including our 75 Rube Goldberg Ideas & Inventions video found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cv5WLLYo-fk
4: Get innovative! You don't need to go out and buy expensive stuff or fancy mechanisms to succeed. Just use whatever you have lying around, like marbles, cardboard tubes, mousetraps, etc.
5: Build backwards! Many contraptionists use this method. First figure out what the objective of the machine is and start from there, building backwards to the beginning of the machine.
6: Your machine may have an objective or a theme if you wish.

DUE: July 1st

If there are any questions please contact one of us via YouTube message or leave a comment below stating your question, and we will try to get back to you as soon as possible.

Happy Building,

TheSprice17, Toothpaste35, and DoodleChaos
