The Radtel RT-470 affordable (about $50) high powered (10 watts) handheld ham radio has a new official firmware available which totally unlocks both reception and transmission like never before. I'll show you how to use the programming software and then with this new firmware (which I also show how to install) you can transmit from 136 mhz - 999 mhz, and receive all the way down to 16 mhz - 999 mhz. This is in addition to all the other features that I love, like USB charging, GOOD air-band reception, auto frequency copy, NOAA weather channels, and a huge battery.
