Wanwan's comment on this song is that it "has a somber yet childish sound to it" which is frankly what I also feel about it. Initially, I was going for the "sad, melancholic" theming, but decided against it because the original song already filled that theme. So I decided to make it like an epic battle theme, while also retaining some child-like and sadness.
And like Wanwan, I don't have the biwa sound. Even worse, I don't have the shou (a traditional Japanese reed instrument) that Wanwan used in this song. So I improvised with church organ (?)
I was already aware that this song is hard to arrange, but when I got into making this, it was WAY WAY harder than my expectations. This single arrange is actually two (best?) attempts merged into one. Go figure.
I will now undergo the usual hating-on-my-new-work phase. That feeling of 'could have made it better' is already creeping in.
Will I finish the Tougenkyuu trio? Yes. Princess Peach is up on the list.

While playing up in the mountains, Claire Elford finds herself taking shelter from the rain in a mansion.
Soon, she finds four other people, some bizarre monsters - and no way back out.
In the company of demons, the five must figure out how to escape...
and solve the mystery of the legendary wish-granting treasure, the Witchs Heart.
Witchs Heart is an adventure game by IZ (BLUE STAR Entertainment) made in RPG Maker 2000.
WARNING: This game is rated R-15. You should be at minimum 15 years old. There is considerable gory content (both illustrated and sprited), as well as some dark themes in general.
Our old man Sirius is dead. Hes most likely killed. By a human.
He was killed with possibly a knife.
In this monster-swarmed mansion... which of the residents is the true culprit.
Heres my theory.
First. A knife was used to kill Sirius. This points straight to Ashe being the killer, or someone just did this to lead suspicions to him. Then heres another question. Wheres the true murder weapon? The one in the kitchen? The one Ashe has? The one someone secretly brings with them? If the true culprit tried to pin this on Ashe, theres no need to retrieve the weapon. Unless its their knife, or its Ashe himself. Wilardo uses a gun, so if he had used a knife to try pinning on Ashe, he wouldnt take the knife with him.
Second. The motive. Noel might have a strong motive, explained by the newspaper article. Noel even once mentioned that Sirius might have a grudge against him, suggesting about it. You might think that only Noels motive was known, but theres actually someone who had a motive too. Ashe. At the storytelling gathering, Sirius attacked Ashe, and broke quite a few rules Ashe gave before. It could have messed up something Ashe has prepared for. Therefore, 2 people have motives.
Third. The opportunity. Pretty much everyone. At night, everyone could roam free. And the meeting between Sirius, Claire and Noel seemed to calm him down a bit, so even Ashe, if he apologized, could be let in. Wilardo is similar.
Fourth. Did a struggle happen? Im afraid not. The blood didnt splattered in such a mess that could be considered as messy. Therefore, death must be instantanous. To think, he has a large wound on his neck. Either the murderer attacked from behind or just downright get overpowered. Or hes consent to it.
The fact that Claire had to break the door down to get inside might give you somewhat an impression of a locked-room. But think about it. The keys arent found on Sirius either, so the murderer must have taken it with them and dispose of it.
And heres some feeling-biased predictions: Ashe is portrayed as a very nice person here, and I think it has a purpose to it.
He might have killed Sirius.
He woke up sooner than anybody else on the day of the murder for some reason. He actively assisted Claire in her search for the Witchs Heart even though he wont get anything other than a look from it. And... he might have asked Sirius about the Witchs Heart. Which I dont think he would stop after asking one question. Hes also curious about whats on the upper floor, perhaps? Anyway, he also knew about Noel disappearing at day beforehand, as shown by a scene, its possible that he used that fact to blame Noel.
Welp, thats my theory anyway. Hope Ashe isnt the killer and still stays a cinnamon bun.
Or at least a strawberry-jammed mint shortcake!

Eeh. Not sure what to talk about in this part. Mostly because too muchs happening.
Sou was faking it the whole time, as expected. But that scene lets us know a bit more about his intentions. He has good intentions, and tries to save the group behind his lies. He suspects Sara due to how she gets along with everyone too easily. There we go, at least we players can understand the reason for his actions now. The cast doesnt know yet though.
Reko will never get along with her brother ever again. Im a bit surprised, actually. Usually these games will just allow them to reconcile... not this one though. But by doing this, we could see that Rekos in a lot of pain trying to forget about her brother. She wouldnt toss the bongos out, and most notably maintaining it all the while.
I still somewhat believe in Keiji. I know hes hiding a lot from everyone, but I feel like the things hes hiding are more personal - the memories that he just wants to forget.
That victim video though... Oh boy. Keiji, you better have a real good reason for this.
Safalin... was getting carried away for a moment there. I know that these dolls arent good news, but Safalin is the first one that doesnt spit in your face.
I feel like using that device too many times could lead to something bad. Really want to try that out.

I might have had things I want to say, but I kinda forgot cuz playing through this all in one sitting is really daunting. I need to have that Lantern in real life. Ugh, I gotta record Alice/Shin route too...
Okay... Ive jogged my mind a bit but I decided not to say anything outside of hints for the puzzles.
Spoilers of course.
If you want to solve them yourself then please quickly ignore the following part of the description.
Be mindful that taking too long in these puzzles (doing unnecessary things) may result in severe consequences.
Okay, here we go.
First Maple battle:
If Maple is angry, use Ranmaru as decoy. When Maple isnt angry, use Sara to call for help. Next part is similar, but you have to push the correct button corresponding to her current emotion (refer to the green books to know which color is which emotion).
Next part, first have Mai read the letter. Then use characters according to her current emotion.
Angry - Reko/Alice or Q-Taro
Sad - Ranmaru then Kanna/Sou (accept handkerchief first)
Happy - Hinako or Kurumada or Kanna/Sou (if offered handkerchief)
Reconcile with Anzu or Sara after doing 3 correct actions (60% full)
Locker Room:
Use Lantern to see the drawings on the lockers. They represent the rooms of 4F and 5F. Put the items corresponding to the rooms to the correct locker. The items falling out are random, but there always will be items needed to be put in the lockers among them. Id advise taking a picture of the lockers under Lantern vision beforehand so you know which locker is which (because you cant see them when theyre open).
Conduit Puzzle:
Before anything else, dont ask Midori to reset your charge at the beginning unless you like things harder. Most of the time have Ranmaru collects charges. When someone other than him is at red (3 charges), reset their charge by preferrably selecting the one with the least charge in the group.
Second Maple Battle:
Preferrably, dont select options that destroy the monitors. Use the right people for the correct AI:
Angry AI - Q-Taro, Reko/Alice
Sneering AI - Hinako, Reko/Alice
Sorrowful AI - Q-Taro, Kanna/Sou
Frightened AI - Hinako, Kanna/Sou
Gin works for all but only once.")

An arrangement of Yumekos theme Dolls Story ~ Doll of Misery from Touhou 5.
Arranging this theme is like a cooldown really. But I found myself really enjoy doing it. Guess I should arrange shorter themes more often.
So yeah, the theme has odd chord progressions, but its easy to get a hold of the overall feeling. I didnt add any trumpets because I think this theme shouldnt have a grand, powerful feeling that trumpets bring. I replace them with guitars instead, hope it works out.
And the notes at the start arent supposed to be there, since the reversed melody is actually audio files, not notes. I put it there while converting it to MIDI.

So far the most badly-translated and longest season.
The casino bit at the start where you have to win 28000 coins is very frustrating if you dont know the most efficient way. Basically, if you mess up, you have to sit at the slot machines, spinning your way through. Could be in a couple of minutes, or hours, depending on your luck.
Anyway, except that, this season is fine.
I really hate gambling personally, and I would prefer to avoid it in general.
But Blackjack happens to be up in my alley.

Personal opinion, but I think saving Alice and sacrificing Reko will eventually leads you to a worse outcome than the other option. Heres some reasons:
- You go to this route by either failing too many times or refusing to push the fake Reko. Which means you go to this route through either failure or accepting that you would rather save a doll than a human.
- You basically killed Reko. You saved the fake, and that fake would later stab the real Reko. In the other route, Ranger killed Alice more directly, so Sara has no reason to blame herself later on for his death.
- Alice wasnt there for his sisters death. Even if hes there though, he couldnt say anything to her, because she died instantly.
- Alices problem will never be solved. He will live knowing that his sister will never acknowledge him as her brother ever again.
- He has no plans for his future. When the characters started talking about their futures, he didnt say anything about himself. In Rekos route though, she said she plans to have a concert.
All of this implies that he would be a worse choice if you have to pick between Reko and Alice.
Oh, I know. He may know more about the Death Game, you say? Specifically, he knows about the real Sou Hiyori. So thats why you save him? I cant help but think that this is a way the game is baiting you to go on a worse path. I mean, it did the same to Sou aka Shin. Sou is more useful than Kanna, so you would rather kill Kanna than him. Too bad, all you did was anger him.
I guess if theres an absolute worst ending in this game, its going to involve saving Alice and Sou (in other words, sacrificing Reko and Kanna).
Its like the game is telling you to stop deciding based on logic alone.")

Its a story-oriented game with a focus on making friends in town.
In this part Nanashi goes around greeting all people in Blue Sun Street and Sunset Hill. We didnt actually befriend anyone yet, but I let you know what these characters like and such.
The Kiri guy and the shrine maiden are interesting, thats why I visited them first ~
Anyway, this part doesnt contain much of the story. I suck at Tetris by the way.

This is more or less a practice on casting cooperation spells. Make the correct pair and the result will be satisfying.
You could make the worst, most disasterous spell chain to deal devastating damage on your enemy.
In my opinion, the pairs I controlled in the video do very powerful spell chains.
