If you don't have a heat gun, it's no problem, at least it wasn't for me. I put the board in the oven at 215º 5 minutes on each side and presto! It fixed the problem. However there are some tools you'll need...
Thermal Compound (I used Arctic Silver)
Needle Nose Pliers
T-9 & T-10 Torq wrench
small flat head screwdriver
mild solvent (rubbing alcohol, citrus based goo cleaner DO NOT USE SOAP & WATER, acetone, nail polish remover or any other crazy harsh substances)
toothpicks and razor blades
Eight M5 washers (I got mine from Home Depot 47¢ a pack of 4)
