Things got a bit intense when we did The Traitors on tour...

To celebrate our 80th anniversary this year, our Visual Artist-in-Residence Jeremy Houghton has been going behind the scenes to observe, sketch and paint the Orchestra and bring out the characters of those who bring the music to life.

He recently sat down with RPO horn player Zoë Tweed and Sub-Principal Bassoon Ruby Collins to sketch them as they discuss topics ranging from the Orchestra's recent tours, their journeys with and relationship to their instruments, and how they approach their different art forms.
