r/Place returns and it's much bigger and much more eventful than ever!
This deep dive explores the bronies' attempt to draw ponies on Reddit's large-scale social experiment. A participant could draw a single pixel every 5 minutes. It is only through collaboration and community that something greater could be created. Over ten million users participated in the event, but we'll be exploring the journey of one relatively small community and the challenges they faced. Can a faction dedicated to friendship prevail in such an intensely competitive game dominated by Twitch streamers? This is the story of the brony faction on r/Place 2022.

Correction:
00:52:41 MLPP does indeed take credit for day 4's large Derpy and were responsible for its creation. Previously I was under the impression the streamer created her and MLPP went along with it after the fact. Things are a little more complicated than that and it's not accurate to say MLPP didn't build her at all. There's no denying the streamer played a large role though.
