Game #521 is Wild Arms 4 on PS2, a JRPG.

Jude, a young man living in the quiet town of Ciel is exploring the forest near his home when a giant tear appears in the sky, and an army streams through it.

Dodging the encamped soldiers, and rescuing another young man who was imprisoned, he returns to town and finds the army storming the place looking for an encased weapon, an ARM. They open the case and a grey powder spills out, and Jude runs in when that powder suddenly transforms into a weapon in front of him...
