One of the few Korean RPGs released in the west, Magna Carta: Tears of Blood is a sequel to a PC game that never left Korea.
600 years ago, humans fled their homeland to escape a disease ravaging it, and arrived at Efferia, inhabited by Yason - looking similar to humans but with long ears. They coexisted for a time, but after awhile a war broke up between the 2 races. You play as Calintz, the leader of the Tears of Blood, a band of human mercenaries, many having lost loved ones in the war.
Now the humans are attempting to launch a massive attack on the Yason capital using Forbidden Magic, and the Tears of Blood are to protect the mages...
