☕ Welcome to RPG News, Updates and Commentary - Where we cover the latest trends in the RPG gaming genre, including MMOs, JRPGs, Online RPGs and the like! Scarlet Nexus’ release date has been announced (June 25, 2021) and I’m looking forward to this the most so far this week. It’s an anime JRPG set in the dystopian future with weird creatures you have to defeat that manifested from the weird but creative mind - Thus, the developers coined the phrase “BRAINPUNK” to describe this game.
Valheim continues to make progress as it announces it’s next biggest update and content drop that will focus on the building aspect of the game. More features and objects to help you build your player housing, forts, towns, villages, and more, will be added!
Square Enix will be publishing a new RPG called Forspoken, formerly known as Project Athia. This is supposed to be an open world RPG and I couldn’t help but to have similar vibes as Horizons Zero Dawn, and that’s necessarily a bad thing.
