I'm very firmly of the belief that only Yhwach, Ichigo and Lille can break Gerard's cross as far as the canon manga goes. Yhwach because he IS the Soul King, Ichigo because he's a proper Soul King candidate, and Lille because of the divine powers Yhwach granted to him along with The X-Axis being broken. Kazui later could potentially also break it, though there is probably still a raw power threshold required.
