Today is our 70th birthday. đźŽ
To mark it, we’re launching a year-long project celebrating the people who’ve made the Royal Court Theatre what it is.
Throughout 2026, we’re turning the spotlight onto our audiences, staff, neighbours and friends, and the moments we’ve played a supporting role in their lives. From first jobs and first dates to one-off visits and lifelong connections, we want to hear from anyone whose path has crossed ours since 1956.
We’ll be sharing these across the year through short films, photography and interviews. With special thanks to Sanjay, Emteaz, Helen, Ruth and Vikki for being our first contributors.
