2026 marks the 125th Anniversary of the Royal Australian Navy. Saturday 21st March saw Sydney Harbour come to life with the Exercise Kakadu Fleet Review, which saw the largest gathering of Warship Vessels in Sydney for over a decade.
30 ships from about 20 different countries assembled across the Harbour. During the mid-afternoon, there was an aerial show which featured an F35 Lightning II, 15 Navy Helicopters flying in formation, and the RAAF Roulettes putting on a wonderful display as well!
Here's our footage from the event. The day also gave us a chance to see some of the other boats in action around the Harbour, including many of the Sydney Ferries. The Sydney Heritage Fleet were also operating cruises for the day which featured their Heritage Boats Waratah, Lady Hoeptoun and James Craig.
