In this video, we walk you through the Prompts feature in Rovo Dev inside the IDE. Prompts let you quickly reuse common commands and workflows, so you don’t have to remember or retype your favorite instructions every time.
With Rovo Dev prompts, you can:
- Run /prompts to see a list of all commands you can instantly action
- Use the built-in, out-of-the-box prompts that ship with Rovo Dev
- Quickly reuse your saved prompts by typing /prompts and selecting the name from the list
- Create and save new prompts tailored to your own workflows
In the demo, you’ll see:
- How /prompts works inside the IDE
- How to pick and run an existing prompt from the list
- How to create a custom prompt, including one to optimise implemented changes before committing
