Ground-breaking moment Alert! After many years plus two weeks of problem solving from the brilliant guys Cameron and Garrett at FuelTech USA, she finally runs, and very well too for a base map, and one injector down. The FT600 is by far the most versatile and easy to use ECU out there that I have come across. If every product which came onto the market was as well finished as this piece of kit, the World would be a far nicer place, for sure.
Next step is to fit the cooling system and map it.
Notice how long it takes to run down after I cut the ignition, this is due to the built-in Allison 1.6 overdrive and the inertia-heavy Taylor water brake dyno.
Yes, it sounds like a diesel, but I assure you it is all 95 unleaded!
