FYI from the designer: there are a few minor and one important difference between the version you've just played and the final version. The big one is the item cards. In the full version, we've redesigned the item cards to fit into four equipment slots (head, body, weapon, feet) and have introduced an item flipping mechanism similar to Rally/Rave, as you "empower" your equipment by spending ether to flip and increase their power. Consumables have also been redesigned as mini-cards, which tightens up the playspace and creates a visual distinction between the equipment and consumables. I can share digital versions of those cards with you if you're interested in seeing what that looks like in practice. The minor differences are that you'd have two envelopes in each tuckbox, giving a branching "A or B" evolutionary path for each character, there will be a component tray similar to Rove: Core that holds every single component not placed inside of a tuckbox, and the map layouts will be modified slightly to address the issue of the spiral binding on the Map book.
