Merry Christmas everyone!
Last month, due to early morning Engineering Works caused the GWML to shut, two Elizabeth Line rail replacement services operated between Ealing Broadway and Slough: W1, which used single deckers via Langley, and W2, which used double deckers and skipped Langley due to a low bridge.
Pretty decent RRP, besides it serving Boston Manor for Piccadilly Line connections. If they really wanted to connect to the Pic, South Ealing would've been much easier, and then E2/E3 back towards West Ealing, which this RRP skips entirely.
This was the 08:13 departure off EAL, and took 1 hour and 31 minutes to complete. Driver missed the turn into Slough and had to go through Salt Hill to turn back around lol. Once again the image used at the beginning is not of the bus that I rode on. I was having issues with my camera and that was the only picture I was able to take at Slough before retuning to London, as I was short on time.
