Team Rubicon’s Vice President of Operations, Jeff Byard, provides an update on our response to Hurricane Milton as we return to Florida to assist affected communities.
After the impact of Hurricane Milton, Team Rubicon is ramping up efforts to support communities across Florida:
• Route Clearance Teams: Three additional teams are on the ground, working to clear roads and restore access for emergency services and residents.
• Roof Tarping Missions: Anticipating significant roof damage from coast to coast, we are increasing our roof tarping operations to help protect homes from further damage.
• Pasco County Operations: We are returning to Pasco County, where we’ve been working since Hurricane Helene, to continue heavy muck-out missions due to storm surge impacts.
Our teams also continue important work in South Carolina, Tennessee, and North Carolina, assisting communities in their recovery efforts.
