In 1999, Martin van Creveld published a book entitled "The Rise and Decline of the State," where he made certain predictions of the state, in part being replaced by non-state entities, which would supplant the state. 26 years out with war in Ukraine, I wonder about that. Keith will defend Martin's overall thesis, and the rest of the gang, Florian, Alek ,and I respond.
