Sometimes I make a TAS of something but I don't feel like polishing it for entertainment, or testing alternate routes/strategies in case there's a faster route than the one I've selected. In the past, I would just take these TASes and shelve them away, never to see the light of day. But sometimes there are people that are interested in seeing them, so moving forward, I'll be filing these under a new "Rough Drafts" series. These TASes will have varying levels of polish and optimization, so don't be surprised if somebody improves this in the future!
This a warpless TAS using the AISSON Game Genie code, which lets Mario pass through walls. It improves this TAS by electricpants and PP Unknown by 110 frames: youtu.be/3eEzfzSqI44
The time saves came from framerule saves in 1-2, 1-3, 4-4, 5-4, and 7-2 (I think I remembered those correctly?), as well as eliminating all extraneous lag frames.
There could still be time to save in World 1...but I'll leave that to others to figure out. :P
Also wtf how did I not collect that one coin in 6-3?????
