Event: Night 1 of a 2 Night Tribute to Layne Staley; Layne passed away on April 5, 2002 after a long battle with drug addiction. Since August of 02, an annual concert weekend has been held to honor Layne. The tribute weekend also raises money to fund the Layne Staley Fund through Therapeutic Health Services. The money raised provides treatment to musicians struggling with addiction. It also provides resources to their families.
