I wanted to show how video references can be used for animation. With a little imagination, video reference can be a great starting point for something that is still fantastic, stylized, and cartoonish. I think Rotoscope Animation can get pegged as only being good for hyperrealistic stuff: but it can be essential for making anime, painterly work, or other highly stylized and fantasy animation.
I'm still hoping to make a video soon where I detail how I get from the video reference to the animation.
Also, I've been working on music for a gothic visual novel and I've been recording some demos which I've included here. Let me know what you think and what can of videos you want next.
