Young Wilfred Espinoza was at the Colorado State Fair with his new wife Roberta in 1966 when he lost his wallet. Time moved on, Wilford married his sweetheart and they had a family. Fast forward 55 years, a team of Roto-Rooter plumbers is installing new pipes inside the walls of a steel mill in Pueblo, Colorado when one of them spots a wallet behind the wall. Like a time capsule, the wallet contained old photos and a newspaper clipping announcing the couple's wedding.
Roto-Rooter of Pueblo began the task of locating the wallet's owner. By April 5th, they located Wilfred's son online and explained what they'd found. The family visited Roto-Rooter where the wallet was returned.
Roto-Rooter occasionally locates jewelry and other valuables inside pipes, trenches and behind walls, but rarely do we find something that was lost so long ago.
