just like anything else, this run could have been much better and much faster. the only reason i tried to beat my previous record was to prove that the doubled exaltation glitch back in february was not the only reason that this time was possible. the struggles of even getting an attempt to start were nearly too much to bear, with multiple rune sets wasted getting unwanted minibosses. starting off the first run of the day on may 31st was a large kicker, setting in stone the harsh reality of how speedrunning sanctuary really is.
however, the stars finally aligned. massive thanks to everyone who's helped gather consumables, those who cheered me on from the background, and those nice enough to let me attempt a solo in multiple wine cellars.
i'll attempt again in the future once i have everything i need, for now, i'm satisfied with the result.
