Speakers: Dane County Executive Joe Parisi and WKOW Chief Meteorologist Bob Lindmeier
Title: Climate Action - Local Challenges, Local Solutions.
JOE PARISI has served as Dane County Executive since 2011. BOB LINDMEIER became Chief Meteorologist at WKOW-TV in 1989. They will summarize climate change challenges and how those challenges affect Dane County. They will also talk about what Dane County is doing, including cost-cutting projects inside county government, innovative efforts at the landfill, and the 2020 Climate Action Plan, through which the county will work with local governments, businesses and individuals so that everyone benefits from a clean energy future.
