Rot Girl is more than fiction - it's inspired by real experiences. While developing this script, over 50 people dealing with #socialAnxiety shared their lived realities through an anonymous survey, baring their souls about life, school, family, friendships, and crushes. Their stories formed the foundation of Emma’s character and shaped the plot. Her journey is their journey. This film is dedicated to them, and anyone who’s ever felt invisible.
