We visit Roslyn WA to see the famous set of the TV show "Northern Exposure" and much more. Roslyn was founded in the1880's as a coal mining town. Workers from all over Europe and the British Isles came to work in the mines. In 1979 the town was the choice for a Kubrick film starring Dick Van Dyke. Then in the early 1990's the town was the setting for a TV series that was nationally popular and acclaimed. More recently the series "The Man in the High Castle" was filmed there.
Today the town still remembers it's colorful past and so do the tourists who arrive there weekly. Situated in the scenic PNW forests of Central WA this town is a must see when traveling down Interstate 90.
