Rosie assists in research related to mobile manipulation.
She has a hexagonal base, omni wheels, and a six degree-of-freedom arm with a gripper. And right out of the box she is ready to roll.
Rosie comes equipped with sample code—enabling teleop control using a mobile app, or autonomous control using a ROS API and off-the-shelf toolkit.
Rosie’s gripper is controlled by an X-Series actuator for built-in force sensing. The gripper’s lightweight, two-finger design is versatile, has a gentle touch, and unlimited continuous rotation.
Rosie’s chassis includes a computer, WiFi endpoint, hot swappable batteries, and the option for tethered power.
Like all HEBI Robotics kits, Rosie is configurable. Add modules and accessories to transform this robot assistant into a Rosie of your own.
