Roshni Healing Arts Sanctuary is an Aurora-based arts organization that uses storytelling and the arts as tools for healing, identity, connection, and community empowerment.
“Roshni” means light, reflecting the organization's commitment to creating spaces where communities—particularly those whose stories have historically been underrepresented—can share their experiences through theatre, dance, visual arts, and other creative forms.

About Route 15
Route 15 is Roshni's first immersive theatre production and draws upon real-life stories and experiences from members of the communities Roshni serves.
The production follows Moe, a Route 15 bus driver, as audiences encounter different individuals and stories along East Colfax.
Within the production, the bus is more than transportation—it becomes a shared community space where people from different backgrounds, experiences, and circumstances intersect.
Roshni has described the bus as a “chariot to a new life,” reflecting how transportation can connect people to employment, healthcare, family, resources, opportunity, and community.
While the production explores difficult subjects—including poverty, addiction, discrimination, violence, sexual assault, and other challenging lived experiences—its larger message centers on:
