Throwing it back to the rose that rose from the rubble 🌹
Shortlisted for the 2023 Yugo BAFTA Student Awards, Roses of the Rubble takes us into an alternate Austin where surveillance controls everything and Valens powers a fragile world on the edge. Hidden beneath it all, Trixi’s Quarter becomes the heart of resistance. Led by Damon and Trixi, audiences were invited to step inside the story and help assemble BEN-i, an automaton built to take down Nox Corp from within.
Created in partnership with ZEPETO and brought to life by the graduating class of the Texas Immersive Institute at The University of Texas at Austin, this two night experience blended live theater, escape room mechanics, and immersive technology into a fully interactive world.
