Berlin, 2026. Sometimes it takes time for a band to find what it really wants to say. R.O.S.A. didn’t need that time.
The Berlin-based hardcore punk band—comprising Hassan (vocals), Til (drums), Jörg (guitar), and Max (bass), all veterans of Patsy O’Hara, Empty Vision, Tackleberry, and Ratfeast—returned in 2025 with three digital singles, knowing exactly where they were headed from the start. Now it’s official: their debut studio album, *No Peace for You*, will be released in August 2026 via the Münster-based independent label This Charming Man Records—home to Die Nerven, Kadavar, and Hysterese, and one of the few labels that treats vinyl as a medium rather than an accessory.
*No Peace for You* features eleven new songs alongside re-recorded versions of "Black Noise" and "Ugly Boys"—two tracks that appeared on the 2025 digital singles and established the band’s sonic coordinates: dark, reverb-drenched, and direct, with a metallic edge—perfect for fans of GAG, Gulch, or other "chain-punk" maniacs. These new recordings aren't just a sharpening of old material but a statement of where the band stands now: with an album behind them rather than a demo ahead of them.
In between: soundscapes. Moments that let the music breathe—or, more accurately, suffocate. R.O.S.A. use these interludes not as filler, but as part of the album’s language. On *No Peace for You*, there are no gaps, only intent.
The first single, "Fragile Power," sets the tone. The title isn't a contradiction but an observation: power that presents itself as unshakable is the most fragile of all. Musically: two minutes that feel like four. No intro, no warm-up.
What R.O.S.A. What sets them apart from many of their contemporaries isn't the tempo or the volume—it’s the attitude behind it. This is no longer a band of youths. The members are in their early forties; they’ve formed bands, toured, quit, and started up again. You don’t hear that as weariness, but as precision. Every beat lands perfectly. Every scream has a purpose.
Produced at Alexander Pusch’s "Obscured By Evil" studio in Berlin, *No Peace for You* is an album that knows exactly where it’s going—and it does so without ever sounding like it’s asking for permission.
