166,000 people are living with Parkinson’s around the UK, and over 28,000 people with Parkinson’s across the UK have little or no access to a Parkinson’s nurse. This means no one on hand to ask for specialist advice, no one to provide support and guidance on how to access other crucial services.
Our Nurse Appeal is providing initial funding for new nurse posts and specialists, Parkinson’s training and education for healthcare professionals, while continuing to advocate for great care, everywhere.
No one should live with Parkinson’s without specialist care. With your help, we can make sure thousands more people get the support they need.
