Weve asked for harder dungeons for forever and we finally got them, and I gotta say I think this content has been some of the most fun Ive had in the game. Mechanics were very well balanced in that figuring them out was difficult, understanding them afterwards was simple, and executing them was mildly challenging.
Its a shame that Criterion dungeons offer no good rewards, so this content is basically done with for me now that weve cleared, but it was a very enjoyable experience and Im glad that the devs finally tried something new and it was a homerun from a gameplay perspective, and I hope they continue building upon this idea.
Also sorry the framerate is so poor at the start, I really dont know whats wrong with my streaming setup specifically when I play FFXIV, but it smooths out after the first boss so whatever.")

Pleasantly surprised by this fun little secret boss challenge in 1999.
Heavy reliance on shield-gating seems like the way to go; Fast Deflection on Excalibur and Guardian on my companion are doing a lot of heavy lifting, though a moderately beefy health pool underneath is needed for anything that slips through. Pure health tanking is probably a decent alternative if you have enough healing output to support it, like with Arcane Grace.
I went with Laetum for my main DPS weapon because it always seems like a safe bet for these kinds of bosses. The projectile speed is kind of rough to deal with, Im sure there are better incarnon weapons to pick for this.")

this dungeon isnt the worst thing ever but its no Pit of Heresy Ill tell you that, were just never getting something like that again. the showdown at the top of the spire was cool though, i wish that was the final boss instead to make it more climactic.")
