Andrew discusses the process of automated room corrections and why they don't always manage bass modal issues well.
The importance of planning in advance and measuring after the event is critical and making manual adjustments then becomes so important.
The ideal procedure is to:
1) Plan the room and ideally use multiple subs if needed.
2) Set up your room subwoofers for the prime listening position first..
3) Then run your auto EQ.
4) Test afterwards and adjust as necessary.
