One of the hardest hit areas this afternoon was Columbia Borough where multiple structures reportedly collapsed, and many were left without a place to live.
The borough now faces major cleanup efforts and continues to stay under a state of emergency until all residents are accounted for. Officials also announced a 10 p.m. curfew for Thursday night.
"I’ve never seen anything like this in my life in Columbia Borough," said Mayor Leo Lutz. "Columbia Borough is tough, Columbia Borough has good people, we’ll rally and get through this.”
