Dear all,
this is my arrangement of the famous "Turkish march" by W.A.Mozart. This piece is the 3rd movement of the Piano Sonata No. 11 (KV 331). I have made an arrangement that uses many open strings - so it is not too difficult to play, nevertheless keeping the character of the piece. I have reduced the piano score trying to focus on the most important notes instead of producing as many notes as possible, as they are written in the original - to keep the demanded fluency. If you know this piece very well, you sure have noticed that I have left out one part and also the major ending in this arrangement. Please forgive me ;-)!
I often play this piece for young listeners in concerts. For these concert I initially made this arrangement. For children to become familiar with (classical) music, I decided to keep it shorter and point out the parts of the piece they probably know.
