Ron Hornaday is a four time NASCAR Truck Series Champion One of few who's name defines an entire era, becoming a member of the NASCAR Hall of Fame and named one of its 75 greatest drivers. He was hired to race trucks by Dale Earnhardt in 1995 and is well known for driving the NAPA Auto Parts 16 truck. He later assisted a young Kevin Harvick and Jimmie Johnson with their own transitions to NASCAR world. After a couple years between AJ Foyt's cup car and RCR in the Busch Series, Ron eventually went to race for Kevin's KHI truck team in the famous 33 where he found massive success and cemented his legend status. Unlike many retired drivers of the golden era, Ron never changed who he was after retirement. He continues to fabricate race cars along with some hot rods for the street while mentoring the next generation of racers on and off the track.
