All about my new pattern: Stop! No Jogging! These socks are worked toe-up, with a Turkish cast-on, short row heel, and a reverse stockinette stitch i-cord bind-off. The top of the heel is shaped to stay up and not slip down into your shoes. But the best part? A fabulous no-jog stripe written right into the pattern! If you've tried knitting stripes in the round, you'll know exactly what I mean when I mention the jog, right? Because knitting in the round is actually a spiral, so unless you make an effort to get your stripes meeting perfectly, they will always have a bump at the join. I have another favorite technique I often use, as well, but that one is not as easy to add to a pattern as the one in Stop! No Jogging.
