After the mysterious death of the late Roman emperor Felix Nobilissimus III in the year 2068 his direct heir Felix IV has ascended to Imperial control. Discontent with his father's pacifistic policies the new Roman emperor has declared an age of conquest focused on the kingdoms of the western hemisphere who have long antagonized the empire. Now 7 years after his proclamation the legions of Rome have begun their landings on islands surrounding the western continents including the Hawaiian Island Chain.
