The fight starts at 1:00 and ends at 16:26

Year 1643.

I got a really bad case of Early Last Emperor™ and as such, I was unable to fully *master* some techs, research major fusion spells or even go for that one Coppelia-related achievement. Also, since I opted to save everyone in Comroon, Dark Magic wasn't available to me in this playthrough.

This fight went surprisingly smooth, probably because I lucked out with no Maelstrom or Lunar Blade. Either way, Revive was up most of the time so I'd have been fine regardless. Revive sure makes everything more manageable if you don't have access to important, game-changer fusion spells such as Elixir, Firewall and Dragon Pulse. If you've got Dark Magic, then Shadow Servant is mostly a better option than Revive and it helps you ramp up the damage.

If not cheesing them with Hasten Time / Quick Time, then it's hard to survive their last phase long enough with no fusion spells, so choosing your armor properly is as important as being able to deal enough damage. As a result, I had to do some grinding for techs, spells, and skill levels.

I was lucky enough to learn Temptation's evasion tech, though it doesn't appear to be 100% reliable; my party members still got charmed some times, no thing Physic Water and Earth Heal can't solve, though. If you don't have it and you're using a male Final Emperor, use Somon's Ring or the Darkstone (I forgot to bring it with me.)

Regarding the formation, it's "Goblin Offense," a remake-exclusive formation. The Final Emperor's armor is also a remake-exclusive; you get it by turning in your Fatestone, an item found in the Maze of Memory. I found it in the "sea cave" section, and I don't know whether it's random or not, or whether it's a one-item-per-playthrough item or not. You can choose whether to trade your Fatestone for a Seven Sword or a Seven Armor.

This time around I got Kzinssie as the last hero but he was so easy I won't be uploading a vid about his 2nd form fight, kek.

Next up: the four remake dragon bosses (though I won't be uploading videos about them because they're boring palette swaps; typical mediocre remake optional bosses.)

I still need to figure out how to get this Victor-related achievement.
