First taking to the roads in 1973, this Silver Shadow appears particularly elegant with its period two-tone coachwork. Close inspection, however, reveals the usual corrosion problems to the wheel arches and valances. Mechanical issues include a gearbox problem making the car reluctant to move. The interior is particularly well preserved with excellent door cappings and dashboard. Unfortunately, our workshop inspection has identified major structural corrosion, including potentially dangerous suspension issues, and the car has now been declared unroadworthy and way beyond restoration. A definite case of beauty being only skin deep. Recycling awaits.
