The CityAirbus all-electric octocopter has successfully completed its flight-testing programme. It uses a Rolls-Royce all-electric propulsion system and has completed over 105 ground and flight tests at altitudes up to 100ft and speeds of 30 knots. This collaboration between Rolls-Royce and Airbus has been invaluable and we are now applying our capabilities and technologies to customers in the urban air mobility market.
