Together with aircraft manufacturer Tecnam and aircraft engines manufacturer Rotax, Rolls-Royce develops, manufactures, and in-flight tests a parallel-hybrid electric powertrain for a 4-seat Tecnam P2010 aircraft. The research project is funded by the European Union Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
