Attraction Spot | Roller Coaster Celebrating 100 Years Cam Mounted Back Left 60 FPS (4K Theming & POV) Lagoon Park @AttractionSpot | Uploaded November 2021 | Updated October 2024, 21 hours ago.
Experience Lagoon's Roller Coaster in a different perspective with this back left cam mounted POV & see some of the day and night theming this coaster has to offer including th light up 100 sign celebrating that Roller Coaster has been around for 100 years of fun @lagoonamusementpark.
Roller Coaster originally called "Lagoon Dipper", the name has also changed several times to "Silver Coaster" and also at one point it was called "Giant Roller Coaster". Today it's just called "Roller Coaster" some have nicknamed it "White Roller Coaster" as the structure looked different years ago as the wood was painted white. This was to treat the wood for weather and other factors which did take a extra step and cost additional money. Today Lagoon Amusement Park can buy wood brown wood that is already pre treated so I no longer needs to be painted white.
The "Roller Coaster" has been around since the year the park opened in 1921 and is the 7th oldest wooden roller coaster in the world.
