This Roll Top Dry Bag, from Survival Hax, is made of 500D PVC Tarpaulin, which basically means it it a flexible, pvc coated tarp like plastic. Looks like a very well made product.
All of the seams are heat welded, to assure water tightness. To test this out we a couple of paper towels inside of it, closed it up nice and tight and threw it in the bathtub, to sit for about 1/2 an hour. When we brought it out and opened it up, both paper towels were completely dry.
This bag is 19 1/2 inches tall, 6 1/2 inches around, and can hold up to 2 1/2 gallons. It comes with a nylon web shoulder strap. To use this bag you simply place your stuff, in about 2/3 of the way full, then you roll the top down, 3 times, and snap the hook together. My husband is very much enjoying playing with his new "Toy", and is excited to take it up to go canoeing, this summer.
This is definitely large enough to hold several cell phones, and wallets, maybe, a first aid kit. So many uses for this bag.
