This is Roll for Music, a series of exercises meant to help hone my musical composition skills without thinking too much on it. For those at home playing along with me, here's how:

1. Roll a few 13-sided dice.

2. Translate the dice to music; each number represents a semitone on the C scale. 1 would be C, 5 would be E, 7 would be F sharp, and so on.

3. Play around with the notes you got till you find a melody you like.

4. Riff on that melody and turn it into a short bit of music.
