Jeannail “Cuddle_Core” Carter, a professional esports player for Red Bull Gaming and Counter Logic Gaming, is one of the best fighting game players in the world – competing in the popular fighting game franchise Tekken 7. With 50+ Top 8 placements in major tournaments across the world, including EVO, ICFC, Ultimate Fighting Arena, and ComboBreaker, Cuddle_Core has solidified herself as a world-class champion.
Outside of competing, Cuddle_Core has advocated for players’ mental health and self-worth, plus raised more than $20K for various charitable foundations. One of the faces of Twitch’s 2021 Black Excellence campaign, she became an official Twitch ambassador in 2023. In addition, she was inducted into Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2022; has been interviewed by Katie Couric for Glamour x Ally Financial’s Daring to Disrupt Campaign; and served as a guest speaker for global brands such as Ally Financial, Riot Games, Twitch Gaming, ComboBreaker, IGN, and more.
Cuddle_Core is committed to being a global ambassador for like-minded brands and for
diversity and inclusivity in gaming, all while performing at a high level in competition. An Illinois
native, Cuddle_Core graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s Degree in
Fine Arts/Illustration.
