Following Silver and Bronze Telly® Award wins, The Rhythm Creators animated series is back with an 808 Day installment featuring New Orleans 808 legend Mannie Fresh. The hip-hop and bounce music pioneer is best known as one-half of Cash Money Records’ in-house production team behind hits like “Back That Azz Up” and “Get Your Roll On.”
Hear from the artist himself as he recounts his first mind-blowing experience with an 808 creating the track “Freddie’s Back,” with stylized animation by Detroit artist Vaughn Taormina.
