debuglive | Roland PMA-5 - "Pocket" touchscreen Sequencer - Mid 1990's era @CTRIX64 | Uploaded 6 years ago | Updated 1 hour ago
The final track is at 9:12 (from line input w/ slight mastering)
This is a (crazy) pocket sequencer that runs on 6 AA batteries and has full MIDI I/O! I decided to see what I could make on it using nothing but itself (as it's recommended to plug an "external keyboard" into it)
I attempted something with more of a modern electronic tip as it does have the GS sound set meaning extra drums, extra instruments and reverb / chorus effects :-) I thought I'd upload 10 minutes of the 11 - 12 hours it took me to make this little tune and so you can see some of the amusing frustrations along the way. It's by no means a full guide... just a little observational "pocket music" experience video.
Apologies for the occasional language - it was 1am by this point.
