So, I previously made a video of the JX-3P v S8 plug out JX-3P a few years ago (here: youtu.be/UTfzIiKZw1A). I had noticed how much darker the JX3P Plug out sounded and how PWM was awful. Roland updated the JX-3P plug out (in 2022 or 2023? I don't know) and it fixed a lot of these issues. I noticed a few minor differences, but I'll be honest, they felt nit-picky. I think they almost completely nailed the sound. Filter differences seemed the biggest.
Listening again - I think I used the wrong note to compare filter differences, sigh... I can just never get these comparisons spot on. Ah well.
I try to go over some other features as well, but don't expect some amazing comparison here, because you won't find it.
